How We've Adjusted
The COVID-19 Pandemic has impacted society more than anybody could have possibly imagined.
Our staff are very much on the frontline in this global pandemic and we, at Wolf Healthcare, cannot commend their bravery and work ethic highly enough. The demand for care workers across the whole business continues to increase and we are striving to support the sector through the recruitment of highly qualified staff.
“There is a great deal of underlying strength in the jobs market, despite the tough economic circumstances of the lockdown. Jobs are still being created all over the country. But it is no surprise that some sectors and regions like health, social care and construction are in the lead”.

In December 2020, there were approximately 1.77 million active jobs advertised in the UK — an increase of 10.5% on the previous year. A number of factors contributed to this, including a pent-up demand for staff. These figures also show a clear divide in terms of which sectors have been impacted the most by COVID-19.
With case numbers rising and more health restrictions put in place, it is no surprise to see significantly higher numbers of job postings for healthcare professionals like nurses (+62.7%) and care workers (+25.8%) in December 2020, than the previous year.
